Fields of interest:

Professor Friston's research spans methodology, with a special emphasis on data characterization and analysis, through to theoretical neurobiology. The methodological components can be broadly classified into those that deal with evoked physiological responses in the brain (i.e functional segregation) and those that deal with functional integration (e.g models of effective connectivity).
