Kevin Kaufmann was awarded his B.S. in Nanoengineering with a focus in Materials Science from the University of California, San Diego in 2015. He is currently a graduate student and research scientist in the Department of Nanoengineering at UC San Diego. His research efforts include the synthesis and application of nanomotors and nanowires, development of advanced nanostructures for sensing and other applications, and the utilization of biocompatible materials for environmental remediation.
