  • geomorphology and geological hazards;
  • land surface remote-sensing (specifics interest in natural disaster modeling using remote sensing data/parameters and GIS tools for flood, earthquake, forest fire, hot spot and
    landslides);
  • data analyses for land surface, environmental process studies and modeling, catchment modeling in GIS and ground water potential zonation
    modeling;
  • ocean surface remote-sensing specifics in oil spill detection from radarsat and SAR imagery and oil spill trajectory modeling in
    GIS;
  • three-dimensional GIS spatial data compression (specifics interest in LiDAR and DEM compression using wavelets).
