Topical Issue on Small molecules for hydrogen storage

DESCRIPTION

The utilization of small molecules for hydrogen storage has been an interesting approach during the past years in the development of energy storage and fuel cell technologies. Therefore, the design of hydrogen storage systems attracted particular attention on the use of liquid organic hydrogen carrier molecules for low temperature hydrogen generation. Here recyclable catalysts are of particular interest for the selective dehydrogenation reactions of such small molecules.
