Consortia and Consortia Members

JISC Collections is a consortium member of the De Gruyter Open Institutional Membership Program. This major consortium is focused on helping academic institutions in the UK in the procurement of digital content. As of 1 January 2015, all JISC Collections member institutions are entitled to opt in to join the De Gruyter Open Institutional Membership Program in order for their affiliated authors to benefit from a 20% discount on Open Access author fees for publications. All types of publications in the Open Access and hybrid model are included in the program: articles in OA and hybrid journals, OA books and contributions (e.g. chapters) in OA books and books published as edited volumes. Please note that articles and chapters in books published as edited volumes can also be made available via Open Access under the hybrid option retrospectively. However, a retrospective option does not apply to whole books that have already been published in the traditional model.
