Consortia and Consortia Members
JISC Collections is a consortium member of the De Gruyter Open Institutional Membership Program. This major consortium is focused on helping academic institutions in the UK in the procurement of digital content. As of 1 January 2015, all JISC Collections member institutions are entitled to opt in to join the De Gruyter Open Institutional Membership Program in order for their affiliated authors to benefit from a 20% discount on Open Access author fees for publications. All types of publications in the Open Access and hybrid model are included in the program: articles in OA and hybrid journals, OA books and contributions (e.g. chapters) in OA books and books published as edited volumes. Please note that articles and chapters in books published as edited volumes can also be made available via Open Access under the hybrid option retrospectively. However, a retrospective option does not apply to whole books that have already been published in the traditional model.

University of Strathclyde
Effective 24th of January 2017; all UKB members, consisting of the thirteen university libraries and the National Library of the Netherlands, are members of the De Gruyter Open Access Institutional Membership Scheme. Under the terms of the agreement; De Gruyter Open member institutions and their affiliated authors are entitled to benefit from a 20% discount on Open Access author fees for Pure OA publications. The portfolio available to Dutch scholars consists of over 500 OA peer-reviewed journals.
All types of publications in Open Access are included in the program: articles in OA, OA books and contributions (e.g. chapters) in OA books, and books published as edited volumes.

Effective 27th of April 2017, the National Institute of Biology in Ljubljana, Slovenia is a member of the De Gruyter Open Access Institutional Membership Scheme. Under the agreement, author affiliated at the National Institute of Biology in Ljubljana are entitled to benefit from a 15% discount on Open Access author fees for Pure OA publications.

Please always state your affiliation when submitting a contribution to be published in the OA or hybrid model and ensure you follow your institutional guidelines concerning the submission of OA publications.
